FRIENDLY BANTER. FRIENDLY CHALLENGES.
A few things your crew might ask
Get to know Yapp before your first challenge.
What is Yapp?
Yapp is a web app for friendly group challenges and everyday predictions with friends and colleagues.
Do I need to download an app?
Yapp starts on the web. Open the app in your browser; do not rely on an app-store listing unless we link to a verified release.
Who can see my Room?
Rooms use membership-based access. Share invitations carefully: a valid invite can grant access to the Room. Do not post private invite links in public comments.
What is a Public Yapp?
A Public Yapp is a publicly readable poll or discussion. Signed-in adults can respond or comment, and the creator can close it early. Eligible first responses earn 5 bonus Yapp Coins, up to five per India calendar day; responding to your own Public Yapp does not earn a bonus. Public Yapps have no stakes, scores or winners. Never include private, sensitive or confidential information. Public Yapp house rules also prohibit religious messages, partisan campaigning, abuse, pornography, extremist promotion and illegal content.
How long does an invitation last?
Current Room invitations expire after seven days. If yours no longer works, ask the organiser for a fresh invitation.
Are Yapp Coins money?
No. Yapp Coins are in-app points with no cash value. Yapp is designed for friendly participation, not cash betting or financial returns.
What makes a good first Yapp?
A clear question about something your group can verify. Define the choices and result before voting starts.
What if a result is disputed?
Follow the review controls and deadlines shown in the app. Keep discussions respectful and report abusive behaviour through Support.
How can I get help?
Use the Support page for access problems, privacy requests and content reports. Never send your password, OTP or private invitation token.
