Open Yapp

FRIENDLY BANTER. FRIENDLY CHALLENGES.

Keep the challenge friendly

The best Yapp ends with a laugh, not someone feeling left out.

Invite, do not pressure

Participation is voluntary. Do not repeatedly target someone who does not want to join a challenge or group.

Banter needs boundaries

No harassment, hate, threats, profanity or abuse, sexual exploitation, pornography, extremist or terrorist promotion, impersonation, scams, doxxing, defamatory accusations or illegal content. Do not publish private information without permission.

Public Yapp house rules

Public Yapps and their comments cannot contain religious messages or partisan campaigning, endorsement or attacks. Neutral, source-based civic issues can be discussed without campaigning or targeting a person or community. These are Yapp house rules; automated checks are only a first safeguard and are not a substitute for human review or legal assessment.

Public means shareable

A Public Yapp, its comments and its creator identity may be seen or shared outside Yapp. Do not copy private Room content into a Public Yapp or publish personal, sensitive or confidential details. Use mute, block and report controls when needed.

Play fair

Use answerable questions and honest results. Do not coordinate fake outcomes, manipulate participation or misuse accounts.

Keep money and sensitive topics out

Do not organise cash betting, demand payments or promise financial returns. Avoid challenges involving private health, intimate relationships or confidential workplace information.

Report concerns

Use the Report page to flag harmful behaviour. Preserve relevant evidence privately and avoid reposting the harmful content to a wider audience.
