Cookies & browser storage
Version 1.0 · Effective 18 October 2026 · Operator: Yapp.IT
1. Essential sign-in storage
The web app uses local storage or session storage for authentication session information. The “yapp-remember-me” preference records your session choice; authentication keys managed by Supabase can start with “sb-”. Remembered sessions use local storage; non-remembered sessions use session storage. These functions support account access rather than advertising.
2. Hosting and security
Hosting, authentication and security providers can use technical processing, logs and essential browser technologies to deliver and protect the service. Some technologies may be provided directly by those services rather than by Yapp’s public-page code.
3. Optional tracking
The public website supplied with this release does not add advertising pixels, embedded social feeds or audience analytics scripts. Fonts are served locally. If optional tracking is introduced later, we will describe it and provide any choice or consent mechanism required before enabling it.
4. Your controls
Use the remember-session setting, sign out, or clear site data through your browser settings. Restricting essential storage may prevent sign-in or interrupt a session. Clearing browser data does not delete account records held by Yapp. For account deletion, follow the Account Deletion page.
5. Questions
